This is our first day in Ios and let me just tell you - it's love at first sight!
Our tour group were lucky enough to get upgraded to the "Far Out" hotel (named after the suburb of the same name by hippies in the 60's !!) and Dunc and I scored the penthouse!
Dunc hired an ATV to drive us around on.. I was very hesitant at first (you all know I'm a scardy cat!) but it's heaps of fun and Dunc's driving it very safely!! (he only does wheelies on the straight bits - and only when there's one bus coming our way - never two!)
There's not too much to do on Ios other than relax on the beach under a thatched umbrella, swim in our divine resort's pool, take a quick ride around on the ATV, then repeat! In other words - we're in heaven!
44 degrees again today.... PERFECT!!!
Tomorrow we're taking a day cruise on what looks like a pirate boat (eek) to beaches that can only be accessed from the water. We're planning a romantic picnic for, well... 27 !!! Lucky they're all such great people!
The day after that, I've booked in for a facial while Dunc's going to zip around the island on the quad bike and then we're just generally going to repeat the above!!!

:( how can any of us compete with that. My brother and partner welcomed Charlotte Veronica May in to the world on Friday 15th June, 11.42pm she weighed just under 7 pounds and was 49cm. She's short and tubby but very cute.
I still wish i was where you are though, fingers crossed I can convince someone to marry me and take me there for a honeymoon!!!
Not long to go.. enjoy your last few days and i'll see you when you get back.
